How long does it take for my furniture to arrive?

You can expect to receive your furniture in six to eight weeks.  It takes time to select the perfect wood, cut out and shape the pieces.  Each coat of hand rubbed, oil finish needs twenty four hours to dry.  Once your piece is packed and shipped it generally takes about a week to get from our shop to your home.

Can I pay for expedited shipping?

We get your furniture to you as quickly as possible, often in less than six to eight weeks, but there is unfortunately, no way to rush the process.  However, you are always free to call us and see what our production schedule looks like.  If it’s possible we will be happy to let you know if we can get your furniture to you sooner.

How is the furniture shipped?

Currently furniture is only available for pickup or delivery within a five hour drive of Salt Lake City, UT.  However, we will soon be offering nationwide shipping via UPS.  If you are outside the pick up and delivery area please call us and we can discuss options.

How do I care for a natural finish?

Your furniture will last for generations, particularly when cared for properly.  Please see our Care Page for detailed instructions.

What if I need a size that’s not offered?

We can often accommodate custom requests.  Please contact us and let us know what you have in mind.

Why do you only use American grown wood?

Please see our Giving Back page for more information on our commitment to sustainable forestry practices.

 What is your return policy?

You have thirty days to fall in love with your furniture, after that we’re sure you’ll be pals for life.  Before the thirty day mark, don’t hesitate to contact us with any concerns and we will do everything possible to make sure you’re happy.

Do you offer a guarantee?

Absolutely!  Ivory Bill Furniture is built for generations, to be something you can hand down, cherished, and to stand the test of time.  We hope you will pass your furniture down to your children’s children.  If you ever have a concern, please email us.

How do I know which wood to choose?

Visit our Wood Species Glossary to see examples of the various types of wood and the differences between them.  We use primarily cherry and walnut, but often have ready made pieces in the shop in reclaimed and other woods and will also consider custom requests.
